1. What we don't collect

• No accounts, names, or passwords — there is nothing to sign up for.
• No game data — scores, team names, fouls and timer settings stay in your browser's localStorage on your device.
• No analytics, advertising cookies, or cross-site trackers.
• No location data, contacts, or device identifiers collected by us.

2. What stays on your device

To keep a refresh from losing the score, HooperScore saves game state (team names, score, clock, period, fouls, timeouts, theme preference) to localStorage in your browser. This data never leaves your device unless you clear it yourself via your browser settings or the app's reset controls. Sounds (horn/buzzer) are generated locally with Web Audio — no audio is uploaded.

3. What we may receive automatically

Like every website, our hosting provider may log basic technical data needed to deliver pages securely — such as IP address, browser type, and requested URLs — for security and reliability. We do not combine these logs with any personal profile, because there is none.

4. Contact emails

If you email us athello@hooperscore.com, we receive your email address and message so we can reply. We use it only to respond and never share or sell it. The contact form on this site simply opens your own email app — nothing is stored on our servers.

5. Children

HooperScore is usable by all ages (coaches, teachers, parents, players) and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Because there is no account or data submission, there is nothing for a child to provide.

6. Changes to this policy

If we ever change how HooperScore handles data (for example, adding optional accounts), we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
